Dr Gregor Ritschel is a political scientist and research assistant at the ZLS. He is involved in the ‘Media education and political education in schools’ module and provides seminars on the topics of fake news and conspiracy theories, media history, social inequality and education for sustainable development.
As editor of the journal ‘Berliner Debatte Initial’, he has co-edited several themed issues such as ‘Baustellen der Nachhaltigkeit’ (2023) and ‘Politische Bildung unter Druck’ (2025, forthcoming). Most recently, he published the monograph ‘Freie Zeit. Eine politische Idee von der Antike bis zur Digitalisierung’ (2021) and the book ’Populistische Spiele. Bullshit als politische Strategie’ (2025).
